Our Story

IC2KG began in 2004.

After attending a church event where our two young boys experienced the joy of praising God, I wanted to keep that excitement alive. Two simple thoughts came to mind:

I Choose to Know God.
It’s Cool to Know God.

The seeds of IC2KG were planted that day.

Those words became our family's chant, and we ended many backyard games with a hands-in...

"IC". . . "2KG!"

For nearly twenty years, IC2KG remained within our family and in my heart. I often imagined it becoming a "What Would I Do?" movement, much like WWJD, but I had always been quiet about sharing my faith.

Then, in 2024, after asking for three years in a row, our son Joe finally convinced us to make IC2KG shirts for his college Athletes in Action team.

Finally...YES.

Seeing college students proudly wear the IC2KG JoJo Tee—and watching the shirts spark conversations about God—made us realize this message was never meant to stay within our family.

IC2KG was meant to be shared.

Today, what began as a simple family tradition has become a ministry.

Our prayer is simple: that IC2KG gives people the courage to boldly say, "I Choose to Know God," and then inspires them to KNOW God, LOVE God, SERVE God, and SHARE God.
